B.A. Econ (Sp) from the University of Colombo, an LL.B from The Open University of Sri
Lanka, and an Attorney at Law certification from The Sri Lanka Law College, Piyal stands
as a luminary in the legal arena. His extensive expertise as an Attorney at Law and
Arbitrator of Labour Courts serves as a guiding light for individuals and corporations
navigating intricate legal landscapes.
Beyond his legal acumen, Piyal excels as an accomplished entrepreneur, steering the
direction of esteemed companies such as Colombo Corporate Services (Private) Limited and
Colombo Capital Investments (Private) Limited. His passion for mentoring and guiding the
younger generation has earned him respect as a revered career guidance
counselor.

serves as the Convener of The Heartfulness Ride, an initiative emblematic of his

Major General Vikrant Naik, VSM, GOC DM & GSA is an eminent military officer. He assumed the role of Chairman of QMTI and PRC Khadkeein 2021. With his rich academic background, he has made remarkable contributions to this path breaking institution. He did his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bikaner (Rajasthan). An alumnus of the Indian Military Academy, he was commissioned into Air Defence Artillery in June 1988. He accomplished his Junior and Senior Command courses at the Prestigious College of Combat Mhow. The officer earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore (MP) and a Human Resource Management Course from MS University, Vadodara (Gujarat). He is also qualified in the Media Communication Course at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. He holds rich experience and expertise in Commanding of an Air Defence Missile Regiment and as the Brigade Commander of an Air Defence Brigade. He received the Vishisht Seva Medal for his illustrious service. His staff assignments are Deputy Military Secretary at Command HQ, Military Assistant to Vice Chief of the Army Staff at IHQ of MoD (Army) and Military Assistant to Chief of the Army Staff at IHQ of MoD (Army). He has assumed the appointment of General Officer Commanding, Dakshin Maharashtra & Goa Sub Area with effect from July 2022. Has vast and varied experience in Military Diplomacy and Interfaces.
